What do muslims really think?

Shah Jalal mosque, Cardiff

If you’ve ever wondered what our muslim neighbours think about things like freedom, democracy, Western values and their new home here in Wales, the results of these polls may be of interest to you.

Of course many muslims are good decent people and may make good neighbours, but the values inherent in Islam are concerning.

The religion of peace contains a supremacist political ideology and remains opposed to many of our values of including freedom of expression and democratic principles.

If nothing else, the result of these polls shows we need to start start an open and frank discussion with our muslim neighbours. We also need to get firm on practices in the muslim community, such as female genital mutilation (which is on the rise in Wales) and reassert our values of common decency.

But the dialogue has to start. It is no longer acceptable to pander to the victim card being played, or give false praise of ‘cultural diversity.’

UK Titanic – time to prepare the Welsh lifeboats?

welsh lifeboat

Kate wastes champaign on Welsh lifeboat, Prince William knows his place 🙂

The entire financial world is going down the tubes. You don’t have to be a brain surgeon to figure that one out. Even the BBC lets little hints of the crises slip out now and then.

The gangsters (or Banksters to use modern slang) running the world economy for their own profit and everyone else’s debt misery are largely centred, coddled and protected in London.

It makes no difference whether the Conservatives, Labour or Liberal Democrats are running the UK, the entire British political establishment are puppets and mouthpieces of the Banksters.

Here in Wales the silence of our nationalist party, Plaid Cymru, is deafening. They rattle on about ‘creating more jobs’, just like their British counterparts in London, but are unwilling to stick their head above the parapet, to speak the simple and obvious truth – that the Global Financial Emperor (that we are currently enslaved to), Has No Clothes!

We don’t need more jobs – we need income security and less debt. You don’t get that with jobs in a global economy collapsing under the death-weight of fraudulent debt bonds.

There has never been a time in human civilization where real wealth is so abundant due to the technology of mass production. Yet we live in a world of company warehouses overflowing with cheap crap that still can’t all be sold due to insufficient purchasing power.

We are inhabiting a world being suffocated by debt and starved of cash.

The goal of ‘balancing budgets’ in practice means increasing the burden debt (representing almost the entire money supply – 98% in the UK) on the increasing poor and nearly poor – reducing yet further our already far too weak purchasing power.

These new ‘austerity measures’ being introduced in the UK and Europe is like a witch-doctor demanding more leaches to be applied to the patient when the first round of leaches have failed to show any improvement.

Will Wales wake up in time to launch the Independent Lifeboat before the UK Titanic goes down?

An independent Wales with its own debt-free monetary system would be the most secure and prosperous nation on the planet. Debt-riddled countries would be lining up to do business with us – although there would be little need for us to reciprocate.

Or will we follow Plaid Cymru’s lead and be too frightened to speak up,  following everyone else like lambs to the slaughter?

As usual, Stacy Herbert and Max Keiser, speaking on Russia Today, tells it like it is – something you will never hear on the BBC.

UK – The Imminent Collapse – take it away Max 😀

The Great Money Fraud

Or how Wales and the rest of the world is being totally screwed over

These last few weeks we’ve seen panic and turmoil in Euroland as the very future of the European Union is in question over the mounting debt crises in Greece, and other geographically peripheral nations.

The Technocrats have made a bid for power attempting to bring in a new EU treaty that would essentially consolidate power in Brussels to control national government’s expenditures.

In other words, democracy overturned in the name of ‘fiscal responsibility’.

The whole project is a complete sham and fraud. Let me explain why.

Nations of the European Union are like most other nations worldwide these days – they have debts that far outstrip the total supply of money.

How is that possible? Because over 95% of the money supply (around 97.2% in the UK) is debt money, fabricated by the banks out of thin air (fiat currency) as debt to be paid back with interest – for their own profits.

This ridiculous, deceitful and fraudulent system for supplying nations with a money stock is why:

  • we (governments, individuals & companies) are always in debt
  • the average debt per individual rises every year (currently average  £29,532 owed per head in the UK)
  • we have to have forced economic growth every year (until the planet packs itself in)
  • we try to achieve full employment rather than full lives

The list could go on and on because the negative effects of a fraudulent and defective monetary system is almost endless.

So why is Greece, Italy, Spain, Portugal and Ireland in such a debt ridden mess while France and Germany are more solvent?

It’s because of their location, on the edges of the EU transport network.

You see, taking just the Eurozone countries, the ‘free-trade’ the technocrats champion is actually economic warfare.

Because all the countries are saddled with huge unrepayable debts (because that’s where the Euro, indeed all ‘modern money’ comes from) to remain afloat it is essential to achieve a balance of trade in their favour. In other words, to keep their debts serviced they have to get money from elsewhere (sell more than they buy).

France and Germany, being in the centre of this trade zone have a physical advantage to roll out their manufactured products to the peripheral nations. The peripheral nations get the goods and the debt which keeps France and Germany from going under.

In other words, nations like Greece and Italy are helping France and Germany pay the interest on their debts while their themselves become insolvent.

In this debt-based economy, nations must engage in trade balance warfare just to survive.

Mind you, it’s survival just for the winners. There has to be losers in this system. Some one has to end up with more debt than it can keep paying the interest on. The international trade / debt system is like the children’s game Musical Chairs.

In the EU version of Musical Chairs there are a lot less chairs than players. In this latest round, Ireland, Greece, Italy Spain and Portugal have been left standing. And its’ given the unelected technocrats in Brussels all the excuse they needed to have democratically elected leaders in Greece and Italy removed and replaced by ‘Banksters’ – the people most responsible for the problems in the first place.

Listen to Max Keiser’s take on this fiasco below. He’s one of the few economists who dares to break rank and state the obvious. (Reporting from Paris via Moscow – I don’t think any Western media would allow him a voice)

If you think that we’re safe here snuggled up to England – think again.

Cameron rejected the new EU’s anti-democratic treaty – which was good – but for all the wrong reasons. He admitted (boasted even) that he wanted to protect the interests of the financial elites that make London their home. Some of the biggest crooks in the banking world, fraudulently bilking billions from the system live in London, protected by the UK establishment.

Not only is there no protection for Wales staying in the UK, we’re almost guaranteed to go down the tubes if we don’t get off this growing debt whirlpool and return to a sound monetary system – debt free Wales.

Here’s a glimpse of the latest statistics I gleaned from the Bank of England statistics:

UK Money Supply Autumn 2011

Personal debt

  • average household debt (including mortgages) £55,795
  • average owed by each adult £29,532
  • average intererst paid per houshold per year £2,440

total mortgage debt: £1,242 billion
total credit/loan debt: £209 billion
total personal debt: £1,451 billion
total commercial debt:  £1,241 billion
total Pubic (government) debt: £974 billion
total debt: £3,666 billion (or 3.666 trillion)
notes and coins (debt free money): £61 billion (or 2.8% of the total money supply)
total money supply: £2,132 billion
total money owed:   £3,666 billion
shortfall:          £1,534 billion

That’s right, the UK owes 1.5 trillion pounds more than there even exists. Talk about a black-hole debt!

In other words, if every English pound in existence went to pay outstanding debts, there would not be a penny left in any account – business, personal, or the governments – and we’d still owe 1.5 trillion … or 1,534 billion … or or 1,534,000 million …  or 1,534,000,000 … or one and a half million million.

The monetary situation in the UK and around the world is totally absurd, totally unjustified, and totally corrupt. It is virtually screwing us all – nations and people.

It’s time people woke up and opened their eyes. It’s time to proclaim that the The Emperor (the monetary system) Has No Clothes!

Plaid Cymru Duplicity

A long time ago in a previous century I joined Plaid Cymru because I’m a Welsh nationalist who believes in the importance of the Welsh nation reclaiming its right to be a free and independent people.

Out of nostalgia I still have my Party card with the aims stated on the back, foremost among them:

  • Sicrhau hunan-lwyodraeth i Gymru a sefydlu gwladwriaeth ddemocrataidd, yn seliedig ar egwyddorian sosialaidd.
  • To secure self-government for Wales and a democratic Welsh state, based on socialist principles.

A “democratic Welsh state” is simply another way of saying a Welsh Republic.  So why didn’t they say it?  Probably due to Plaid Cymru’s longstanding and greatest fault – institutionalised fear of upsetting anyone, especially the British Establishment.

Another problem with that aim was the escape clause – “based on socialist principles”. Nothing wrong with socialist principles – unless they supersede democratic principles – which they clearly do in this aim.

In a democratic state, a genuine republic, the people decide on what principles they which to be governed – not a sanctimonious inner circle of smug patronising intellectuals who feel they know better than y werin, the commoners.

And that’s always been the problem with Plaid Cymru – a party run by an Ivory Tower Inner Circle that holds in disdain the views and interests of the grass-roots membership and in tandem, the Welsh people themselves.  Perhaps on some gut level people can sense this – which would go a long way to explain the inability of Plaid Cymru to become a the main political force in our country.

In 2001 when this smug inner circle staged a coup of the Party’s aims wiping out the old ones and replacing them with watered down new ones – designed to offend no one – with no mention of an independent Welsh state. It was pushed through in a ‘special conference’ in Builth Wells.

Despite myself and a couple of other Welsh nationalists passionately arguing against this betrayal, the majority of the delegates behaved like sheep and approved the changes to please their masters.

The majority of Party delegates betrayed the principles and founders of Plaid Genedlaethol Cymru (as it was first known) out of sheer acquiescence and cowardice, deferring to the Party’s  inner circle  – who were more than ready to sell out their own Party and country to please their masters – the UK establishment.

Sheep, the lot of them. That’s also the day I left Plaid Cymru as it was no longer a place for Welsh republicans (if it ever was).

So here we are 10 years on, A ‘fakebook friend’ informed me that Plaid Cymru has now changed its aims once again and has introduced the word ‘independence’ into it’s aims. Sure enough, the new foremost aim reads:

“secure independence for Wales in Europe”

The problem with this newly worded aim is that it’s an oxymoron – meaning that it contradicts itself and is virtually meaningless. How so?

“In Europe” can mean only one thing – being a member of the European Union. The fact is – you cannot be simultaneously be a member of the European Union and independent – any more than Wales can be independent and part of the UK.

Both political structures, the UK and the EU, represent an erosion of democracy and self-determination. It is rule from a distant body outside the democratic control of the people.

Independence in the European Union? What a joke. It’s hard to say if those who worded this new aim are trying to pull the wool over the eyes of the Party membership – or they are just too thick themselves to grasp the contradiction.

For those who would argue that we have to be in the European Union for the sake of our economy (yes, we’re back on our knees again), it might be worthwhile to point out that the two most prosperous and secure nations in Western Europe are the two who are not members of the EU – namely Norway and Switzerland.

Membership in the EU would not only rob us of the independence we crave, it would also impoverish us in the long-run, after we have spent the financial bribes that will undoubtedly be offered to keep us under our new master’s thumb.

Take a look at Ireland. What a sad story that is. They gave their blood, sweat and tears to win independence from the UK only a couple of generations ago. Now their cowardly politicians have handed it back to Brussels resulting in Ireland becoming a  bankrupt vassal state of Euroland. Way to go guys!

Irish-born Pat Condell tells the story of the Irish experience of European Union membership without all the bullshit we’ve come accustomed to mainstream media fact twisting.

Let it be a warning to Wales, and those EU loving sycophants in Plaid Cymru.

Muslim Free Wales?

Muslim in WalesOver the past few years I have become increasingly aware of a growing Muslim presence in Cardiff – most visibly in figures shrouded in black sheets with only their eyes showing – the “liberated” Muslim woman.

I find the growing Muslim presence in Wales alarming – not because I’m a “narrow-minded racist” as the liberal left likes to dismiss anyone who dares question the increasing multiculturalism of Europe – but because I see a threat to our value of basic tolerance and freedom.

In truth, I once considered myself a bit of a liberal leftist and embraced our Muslim brothers and sisters thinking we were all going to have a jolly time together. It is only after extensive reading and studying the issues of Muslim immigration to Europe that I have realized the folly of my acceptance of Islam among us.

By and large Muslim immigrants in Europe (and that includes Wales) are not immigrants in the common sense of the term. They are colonists. An immigrant becomes a member of the country he or she moves to, adapting the local values and social norms. Colonists have no interest in integrating but are hell bent on imposing their values and social norms onto their new home.

You don’t have scratch the surface of the growing Muslim presence to see the what’s at stake. The fact is that many Muslims are not simply failing to integrate, they are positioning themselves as enemies within.
Islamic intolerance and threatsThe biggest threat for our future is demographics. The indigenous European population is not reproducing at a sustainable rate but the incoming Muslim population is multiplying and expanding rapidly.

Currently numbered at around 25 million, Muslims will form the majority in 20 years if trends continue. We will then all be living under Sharia Law in the UK (Sharia courts have already been established here).

My wake up call to the growing threat of Islam to the West came from a rather unexpected source, the author Aayan Hirsi Ali, a Somalian Muslim women who emigrated to Holland where her eyes were opened to Western values.

Like many other Islamic women she suffered horrific abuse growing up including genital mutilation which is still widely practised throughout the Islamic world including the UK and Europe.

Infidel by aayan hirsi ali coverThis brave woman became an outspoken critic of the growing Muslim communities in Holland – a source of intolerance and violence against women.

She investigated and made public the growing number of ‘honour killings’ in Holland and was later elected as a member of the Dutch Parliament.

She then produced a short film called Submission (the meaning of ‘Islam’) with Amsterdam film maker Theo van Gogh.

Theo Van Gogh was later murdered on his bicycle in Amsterdam by a Muslim emigrant for making the film. A note was pinned to his chest with a knife claiming Ayaan would be next. She had to go into hiding and even to this day her life is in threat.

The growing Islamic presence in Europe reflects a moral weakness in the UK and the EU. In the name of ‘tolerance’ and ‘multiculturalism we are bending over backwards to accommodate a religion and culture that glorifies the subjugation of women (including beating of wives, female genital mutilation, family “honour” killing, and forcing women to dress like black rubbish bags). We have become apologists for a backwards mentality stuck in the medieval age where rape victims are blamed and punished and homosexuals and adulterers are punished by death.

Let’s grow a backbone and say enough is enough to this creeping social poison in our communities. There is no room for Islam in Western civilisation. It’s been a long and hard struggle to achieve the degree of freedom of thought and action we have. Why are we so keen to give it up to appease the Islamic bigots?

Last word to Irish-born Pat Condell – one of the few people left unafraid to speak the truth about Islam in Europe.

Frizbee kicks butt

Wales has some amazing talent in the the arts, particularly music.

Take Frizbee for Blaenau Festiniog for example.

Pity Welsh talent doesn’t get enough support, either from the larger Media wheels like BBC, or from the public, to flourish.

In an independent Wales where people could afford to follow their passions backed by a supportive infrastructure, culture and a sufficient income for all regardless of employment, our talented citizens could grow and develop in an facilitative atmosphere.

– – –

Sufficient income for all – without have a ‘proper’ job? I can hear people remarking. The fact is that a basic income, created as a government-backed fiat currency as a central plank of monetary reform, paid to all citizens regardless of employment or savings, is not only financially feasible but would be economically beneficial in a Debt Free Wales (or any Western country for that matter).

When we are no longer slaves of this phoney debt economy, the creative side of the Welsh can and will flourish.

In the meantime I can only admire the tenacity of Welsh artists and musicians to continue creating in this poisonous unsupportive atmosphere.

Can Wales AFFORD independence?

Below is a short article I pasted in syniadau.forumotion.net/ in May 2011. It has so far been view 85 times and received 0 response.

Apparently no one disagrees with it but why the silence? when we examine the thing most of us spend our entire lives chasing and worrying about – money. Is it a taboo subject?

– – – –

The question “Can Wales afford to be independent?” is a misguided one based on confusion of how the economy and the money system operates.

A more legitimate question is – Can Wales afford to continue to be locked into the failing UK economy where all crucial decisions are made in London?

If you want to discuss affordability you must understand the nature of money – the linchpin of all modern economics.

A quick overview of the money system:

Less than 3% of the UK money supply is in notes and coins – the rest is simply electronic numbers in bank accounts, credit card statements, and the like.

More importantly, the “electronic” 97% of the money supply is debt – to be paid back with interest – mortgage debt, business debt, personal debt, public debt. Our money supply is debt.

How has this come about? When banks lend money (or credit card extend credit) they don’t take it from somewhere else. They create it out of nothing – as debt – to be repaid with interest. Over time the debt supply of money overtakes the debt-free supply – notes and coins.

In the UK, the money supply grows by around 8% a year – all debt money. As an economy we have to borrow more money every year just to keep up to the paying the interest of previous borrowing. It’s like digging a deeper and deeper hole every year just to fill previously dug holes.

We now owe far more money than exists. There is no escape if we stay in a debt-based economy.

While the bankers and financial elites rule London, and London rules the UK, there is little hope for Wales getting off the debt slave treadmill.

We can only expect increasing debt, foreclosures, and cyclical inflationary growth (fuelled by expansive credit/debt creation) followed by recessions and cutbacks as the debts become unplayable.

The 2008 recession is just a calling card of worse times to come if we don’t get off the debt wheel.

So what could an independent Wales do to right the situation, you ask?

Simple – three little laws. One would create a national currency for Wales. Second, we create a national bank of Wales, democratically owned and controlled. Third, we would require the banks to do what most people think they do now – lend money they already have.

Only the national bank, on behalf of our nation would have the right to create money out of nothing. If the banks wanted to lend more money than they had they would have to borrow it from the national bank.

With a stroke of the pen we would reverse the playing field. The big financial wheels would have to pay interest to us, the country, for using our money – not the other way around, like in the UK now, where the entire economy is in debt to the elites. (a stupid, unjust, rotten system when you think about it).

So in the future, if Wales needed to undertake some major public projects (like building 10 more hospitals and 50 new schools) the question – do we have enough money for it? – would be senseless. The correct question in a debt-free system would be – Do we have enough workers and materials to undertake the projects?

So can Wales afford independence? Absolutely! If we take control of our money supply in a democratic and responsible fashion we could be in for a very bright future.

Can Wales afford to stay in the UK? Only if its prepared to suffer more debt, poverty, recessions, inflation, stagnation and misery.

Royal Wedding Disapointment

I just got in after 18 days at sea and discovered the grand royal wedding of William and Kate was done and dusted.

No big deal. I have no obsession with the royals or any other celebrities for that matter.

But I was mildly disappointed it wasn’t held in Wales. We missed out on making a small mint selling souvenirs to crowds of brainwashed English folk.

Don’t know why I was thinking it was to take place in Caernarfon. Maybe I got it muddled with the coronation thing.

But no grudges. Let the English have their day with their silly hats and union jacks. I only feel sorry for the small number of royalist adoring Welsh morons. There are a still a few around – almost all over 80 years of age mind you.

Weddings come and go. Royal lines come and go. And in time, the English grip on our nation will go.

It’s loosening every day, every month every year.

It is no longer a question of if Wales will be free but simply when it will be free – free to carve out its own destiny  – an ancient nation with a solid future.

The king is dead. Long live the Welsh Republic.

Fe ddaw ein dydd.

A Welsh Republican Response to the Impending Royal Wedding

Disclaimer: Apart from a brief visit in January I have been out of Cymru since last summer, sailing to Ireland, later Lanzarote, and now find myself in the West Indies. So I’m not totally up on current events.

Despite my distance, I’ve gathered from the BBC world service that a big royal wedding dodo is planned for this spring sometime. Prince William is getting married to his longtime girlfriend whats-her-name. (I do however have a dim memory of what the bride-to-be looks like having seen a picture of the couple on a tabloid cover a long time ago – a pretty girl with long brown hair?)

My guess is that most of the English will make a big hullabloo over this and the BBC, fulfilling its mission, will try to give the impression that the Welsh and Scottish admire and respect the English Aristocracy as much as the English themselves. They will be correct to a degree – or more specifically the Welsh who were born prior to 1935 – a generation that has been remarkably brainwashed into veneration of everything “British” facilitated by the trauma of World War 2.

For some reason I have the notion that the couple will be wedded in Wales, maybe Caernarvon Castle? If that’s the case, there will surely be Welsh nationalist “protesters” denouncing royalty with placards and the like, who in turn will be totally and utterly ignored by the entire British media machine.

As a republican committed to an independent Welsh Republic (outside the European Union like the two most prosperous and happy nations in Western Europe – Norway and Switzerland), what’s my take on the up and coming royal wedding ?

I will give this event all the attention it deserves. In other words I’m going to ignore it. And that, I believe is the best course for all us died-in-the-wool nationalists.

Suppose you make an anti-royal protest and surprisingly get some media attention (highly unlikely as it may be). What’s the end result? You come across right sourpuss. A miserable unhappy spoiler. You won’t further the cause of Welsh independence one iota.

The entire social pyramid of aristocracy so carefully crafted by the Normans (and stupidity worshiped by the subjugated English) is a really rotten social order. But on another level I almost feel sorry for those who were born into the royal family. It’s akin to being born into a jail. The cage is public scrutiny and there is no escape. It is a life sentence.

So I have no desire to try and make their miserable lives even worse through public protest against a young couple hitching the knot (although I’ve never cared for marriage myself but that’s an issue for another post in the future).

royal wedding in walesIf it is being held in Wales we should get busy at making souvenirs to sell to the masses of silly English who will flock to the occasion. When it’s over they’ll take home their Made in Wales royal wedding t-shirts, hats, tea towels, plates, etc. and we’ll be left with our pockets stuffed full of English pounds and a smile on our face :D.

A royal wedding isn’t something to love or hate. It’s certainly not something to be taken too seriously. Only the mentally deficient get wrapped up in royal soap operas. Don’t you be one of the bumpkins either adoring or decrying the event.

So to sum up, just ignore it. Paying it attention, either negative or positive, just feeds it.

Wales is on the road (slowly but surely) to regain its rightful independence. And it really doesn’t matter two hoots whether England remains socially retarded cringing and bowing before their ‘superiors’, or if they become once again a Republic, as it was in the 1650’s.

Wales is not England and England is not Wales.

Why Wales deserves (needs) Independence – part 2

It is an inevitable fact in democracies, indeed all forms of governance, that:

the further away the decision makers are from the people who are effected by those decisions, the worse the governance.

This principle holds true regardless of time, place, or nation.

In a UK context it means that the Celtic nations, and possibly north and west England, are institutionally mismanaged.

Real democracy is participatory democracy – where the decision-making power is spread out involving those who are effected by the decisions being made. Another name for the process is subsidiarity – “an organizing principle that matters ought to be handled by the smallest, lowest or least centralized competent authority”.

The “competent authority” in a democracy is you … and me … all of us.

Of course this runs counter to groveling British society where people are brought up to believe in their inferiority and incompetence, always doffing their cap to the “authorities” crachach.

For the Welsh people to be truly free we must cast of these mental shackles of subservience that have been so cunningly crafted for us by the ruling classes for centuries. We must wake up and empower ourselves to take back the control of our lives and our nation.

Welsh Independence will take a lot more than a wholesale shift in powers from London to Cardiff. It will take a shift in general attitude and outlook.

Let’s start that shift today. Stop winning and take responsibility for your situation. Bow to no one for in the greater reality we are all equals.

The Welsh Republic must be founded on the principles of equality for all citizens. It is that principle that gives it Republican credentials – a far cry from a pathetic monarchy based on inequality by birth and association.
